The ingenuity of U.S. corn growers was recognized today when Rick Tolman, chief executive officer of the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA), highlighted their ability to meet all corn food, feed, fuel and fiber needs at the Fourth Annual Canadian Renewable Fuels Summit in Quebec City.

At the request of the Conservation Technology Information Center and The Fertilizer Institute, the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) asks its members and others to take part in a national survey. The effort aims to gain a better understanding of environmental management measures on U.S. farms, and barriers to adoption.

In a letter submitted to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) stresses the amount of success U.S. corn growers and ethanol producers have had in developing important coproducts from ethanol and finding markets for them with little government assistance.

The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) applauds the Senate in its 77-18 passage of the Peru Trade Promotion Agreement (PTPA).  President Bush is expected to sign the agreement into law.
