LOUIS (October 20, 2009) -- A nationwide survey conducted for the National Corn Growers Association found broad public respect and trust for family farmers and support for corn as food, feed and fuel. Ninety-five percent of those polled find farmers to be trusted messengers on issues such as agriculture, corn products and ethanol – and ethanol itself was supported or strongly supported as a good fuel alternative by 65 percent.

LOUIS (August 13, 2009) -- The National Corn Growers Association is pleased the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency will begin accepting and approving applications for farm storage loans on Monday, Aug. 17. USDA has released notices to FSA state and county offices on the new regulations for the Farm Storage Facility Loan Program improvements authorized in the Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008.
